Versatile Blogger Award

Today I received an email from Bella Bleue Healing that I was nominated by her for the Versatile Blogger Award. Wow! Pretty incredible. Thank you so much Bella Blue Healing for recognizing my humble little blog.

Here are the rules to the award: Thank the person who nominated you and link back to them when you create a post on the award. Share 7 things about yourself. Pass the award on to 15 people you know who have blogs that you follow and enjoy. Contact those people that you have nominated.

So, seven things about me.

1: I am very happily married to the love of my life and best friend who I met 31 years ago when she was sixteen and I was nineteen. My friends thought I was robbing the cradle.

2: I am the youngest child of a youngest child and the third child of a third child.

3: I listen to all types of music except Jazz, Rap and Heavy Metal.

4: My favorite food is Indian.

5: I am 1/8 Carib Indian, an indigenous tribe from the Caribbean that were reportedly cannibals.

6: I love nature and to hike

7: I have 171 songs by Olivia Newton John on my iPhone.

Now for the fifteen blogs I nominate for this award.

1: This blog I only recently discovered and it is one of the most positive, upbeat and inspiring blogs I have ever read and it is written by a remarkable woman going through a really tough time with leukemia. Marie-Chantal Marchand’s blog is definitely deserving of this award, and a definite must read.

2:  Mimo Khair’s Blog is a collection of beautifully taken photographs and inspiring and insightful words.

3: Stop.Breathe.Action is a newer blog that is full of positive and uplifting writings

4: I am Not Defined is an excellent write in advise blog

5: Ichigo Ichie is another great blog of uplifting and inspirational posts

6 & 7 : These go to a couple of blogs written by a couple. The wife’s blog, Ray And Mave’s Blog, follows her journey with Mesothelioma, and her husband’s blog, Meso and Me, gives his perspective.

8: High Flavor, Healthy Heart is a daily blog to help all of us with heart Failure to live an easy low sodium life.

9:  Have a Dream is another uplifting and inspirational blog

10: Sarcoidosis Awareness Blog posts information relative to people suffering from Sarcoidosis

11: Chronic Town chronicles the life of another Sarcoidosis survivor

12: Can I nominate the person that nominated me? Bella Bleue Healing,  great positive postings.

13, 14, & 15: Are three blogs that are no longer with us. There authors have passed away from Heart Failure, Sarcoidosis and cancer, but in their day, they were some of the funniest and most uplifting blogs. The blogs are not longer in existence, but I know who they are and I send this to them posthumously.

Written by Basil Rene

I maintain two separate blogs. One is LifeAsAnAnomaly.com where I discuss my life with sarcoidosis and the other is AChefTalksFood.blog, where as the name implies, I talk about food.
