At Last, A Multivitamin Without D

One thing that people with sarcoidosis have to avoid is high amounts of vitamin D. And to find such a thing in a multivitamin is a hard thing to do. So, most of us avoid multivitamins. Well, today I came across a multivitamin for men that is low in vitamin D.  It is called “For Men Only II“, from Only Natural Supplements. Just how low in Vitamin D is it? Zero. None. Nada. Well, according to the label at least. I can see no listing of Vitamin D. So if you are a guy with Sarcoidosis, looking for a multivitamin without vitamin D, check it out.

  1. I am a woman with Sarcoidosis. I am hunting for one multivitamin with iron and low Vitamin D. I found out that the one for older women does not have iron at all! I didn’t know it the first time and pretty soon my anemia started to come back.

    1. Hi Carol. I was advised by a nutritionist to take iron as a separate supplement altogether because it affects every one so differently. Not enough, anemia. Too much, constipation.

      1. When my mother was sick (not with sarcoidosis, though), the doctor prescribed…oh man, fine time to forget the name of the drug…Anyway, you are right. Too much iron results to constipation. She had a hard time with that.

  2. Now, I am still searching for a multivitamin without Vitamin D or at least low D. Also I have been placed on iron suppliments.

        1. You’re welcome. Actually if a doctor is not specialized in Sarcoidosis they will order a regular Vitamin D test and see the levels are fine and continue to tell their patient that everything is fine, but they need to order a 1,25-dihydroxy D test for sarcoidosis patients as those levels can be very different from regular levels.
