Reconnecting With What I Love: A Hike In Minnewaska State Park

IMG_8214.JPG

I love to hike, and my wife an I did it every chance we had. I think that is why I do so well with my cardiac and pulmonary sarcoidosis. It's because I was so fit in the first place. And a couple of weeks ago, we went went back to one of our favorite places to hike. Minnewaska State Park on New Paltz, NY.

It was quite a difference having to do the hike with a portable liquid oxygen on my back, and having to take breaks here and there to get my heart rate down, but I did it. I walked the entire perimeter of the lake. Here are a few photos of some of my favorite spots of the area.
