This Is A Blogging From A To Z Challenge Post
April 6th – E
People with chronic illnesses are often looked upon as weak, pathetic and sorry individuals, people that no longer really have a place in the social circles of past. The truth is, people with chronic illnesses have to endure pain, fatigue, nausea, physical weakness, loneliness, rejection, ridicule and doubt among many other things. Endurance is the one ability that no one ever sees in the chronically ill person. And through it all, they are all expected to smile and pretend that everything is okay. Just be silent and endure your troubles in quiet. And although it is hard, once you realize that all you ever need in this world is the love and appreciation of one person – you – you will be able to endure the world, and the smile on your face would not be a pretend one, but one of true happiness from your heart.
I think people who have chronic illness are amazing to be able to handle all they do each and every day.
Good luck with the 2015 A to Z Challenge!
