I recently came across this writing and it just goes to show how you enjoy your life all has to do with how you approach it. Read the passage below to the end.
Today was the absolute worst day ever
And don't try to convince me that
There is something good in every day
Because when we take a closer look
The world is a pretty evil place
Even if
Some goodness does shine through once in a while
Satisfaction and happiness don't last
And it's not true that
It's all in the mind and heart
Because
True happiness can be obtained
Only if one's surrounding are good
It's not true that good exists
I'm sure you can agree that
The reality
Creates
My attitude
It's all beyond my control
And you'll never in a million years hear me say that
Today was a good day
Now read the passage from the bottom to the top
The writer of this artiicle, not you Basil, makes me nervous for those who read this and are having a problem with depression. What do you think?,

I’m not sure how to answer that as I have never had to deal with depression and am not able to wrap my head around it ( no pun intended), so I don’t know how a person suffering from depression would read it. It is very easy for me to pull myself out of a funk just by telling myself to do so and changing the way I am thinking, which I understand is not a possibility for people with depression as it is chemical thing. To me it’s an easy thing to do, so I would hope that looking at something from a different angle may help people to see the day as brighter.
