25 Years Of Wedded Bliss

Christmas Eve will mark my wife and my 25th wedding anniversary. This past weekend marked the 34th anniversary of the day we met when she was just sixteen to my very much older nineteen.

We usually go out on Christmas Eve night for a really nice dinner, but this year, since it is such a special anniversary, we could not decide which of our favorite restaurants we wanted to go to, so we decided why not do them all so will go to do a different restaurant every day for the week.

We gave ourselves the option of either dinner or lunch, and to make it fun, I made up three different bowls, one with the names of the restaurants we want to go to, one with each day of the week, and one with choices of either dinner or lunch.

My wife chose one from each bowl which would decide what restaurant we would go to on which day, and for which meal. She picked out dinner for all. So every night, we will go to one of our favorite restaurants to have an anniversary dinner.

We started yesterday with brunch with my brother and then dinner at restaurant number one which was Thai. Tonight is dinner at our favorite French fusion restaurant. Tomorrow will be our favorite Traditional French restaurant. Wednesday is our favorite Tapas restaurant and Thursday, Christmas Eve, our anniversary is our all time favorite, which is an authentic Spanish restaurant.

It's going to be a deliciously fun week and I say diet restrictions be damned!
