I love music. I like all music except for jazz and rap. I listen mostly to pop music. I love any music with a good beat. I love to play music loudly in my car sometimes when it is a song I especially like.

In spite of my love of loud music, there is a time and a place for it. Is it only me, but why is it so many stores and restaurants play their music so loudly? It feels almost like I am in a club in every store I go into. And restaurants? What happened to ambiance? Lately when we go to restaurants the music is so loud you can barely carry on a decent conversation. What do you think? Am I just getting old or do you agree that businesses are now playing their music at ridiculous volumes?
