I never drank coffee until I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis in 2006 and went to see an Ayurvedic doctor who advised I drink coffee as it helps with breathing. I told him I did not like coffee and he told me to stop at Starbucks on the way home and try a latte or a Frappuccino with some sugar free syrup. I stopped, I tried and I was hooked.

The Possible Health Risks Of Coffee

Becoming My Own Barista
I grew to love lattes so much that I bought an espresso maker to make my own lattes at home. I don’t go over board, probably having one every day or two. They especially help with my headaches.
My wife on the other hand, can’t stand coffee. She hates the smell of it, saying it smells like skunk to her. To me it smells awesome.
What to do if someone can’t stand the smell of the espresso you brew?
Since my wife can’t stand the smell, I only make lattes either when she is not in the house or when I am able to open up the house to air out the smell, and I always warn her before I am going to make it so she can be prepared for the smell.
That’s how you keep a happy marriage. Don’t give up what you love because the other person doesn’t like it. Simply work out a way that you can continue to enjoy what you like without making the other person uncomfortable. And never try to kiss someone who hates coffee!
