It’s very easy for someone to look at the negative side of things, especially when you are living with a chronic illness like Sarcoidosis. Doctors a lot of time don’t exactly always give you the most positive prognosis and that is because they are working off of statistics.
Each of us is an individual and we all respond differently. My doctor originally said that I had a 50% chance of living 5 years and a 10% chance of living 10 years. Not very good odds right?
It’s now 12 years since I was told that and I am a very healthy person, considering my conditions. So there is never any real reason to be negative. You just don’t know enough.
